Danny R. Barragan is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, and creative director born and raised in San Diego, California. For over 30 years, he has expressed himself through sound and visual art—merging the two as parallel languages that speak to the human experience.

As a founding member of the music group Drumetrics, Danny’s current work spans experimental music, and atmospheric mixed media paintings. His creative inspirations pull from vintage library music, psych rock of the ’60s and ’70s, and the raw, jazz-infused hip-hop of the ’90s—sounds that shaped his early years and still echo through his work today.

His art and music both explore the tension between brokenness and beauty. Using rust, decay, and texture as metaphors, Danny’s visual work reflects a deep desire to see healing, connection, and freedom rise from pain. Married to his wife Elizabeth and father to three children, Danny’s life and work are fueled by a passion to create spaces—sonic and visual—where people encounter restoration, joy, and transformation.
